Caleb Efta
There are no shortcuts.
Caleb Efta is more than a race director - he’s part of the engine that drives one of the toughest, most community-rooted ultras in the country: the High Lonesome 100.
This race doesn’t just climb mountains, it builds family! It’s lungs burning at altitude, legs giving out and still finding the strength to push forward. Behind every summit, switchback and aid station is a team that runs on grit, heart and human connection.
That same spirit fuels a deeper mission. Caleb and the HiLo team proudly support the Colorado Fourteeners Initiative, a non-profit dedicated to protecting the fragile alpine ecosystem that make these mountains so special. Through sustainable trail restoration work and public education, CFI helps ensure our high places stay open, wild and runnable for generations to come.

Jacky Hunt-Broersma
You can do hard things!
Some people run ultras. Jacky Hunt-Broersma rewrites what’s possible. After losing her leg to cancer, she didn’t slow down - she went faster and farther than ever! Now a world record holder, ultra-runner and all-around legend, she smashes through limits with every mile, proving that resilience knows no bounds. Her story continues to inspire an entire community of runners, dreamers and fighters along the way.
Off the trails, Jacky is just as relentless, supporting Amputee Blade Runners, a non- profit organization that helps fellow amputees get the gear, resources, and confidence they need to chase their own running dreams.

Taylor knows firsthand that true transformation goes beyond willpower. It’s about building strength within a supportive community, which is why he supports Recovery Strong.
